8 Great Ways to Keep your House Healthy!
1 : Go up and down your stairs 15 times a day. If you have a smaller place or don't have stairs, then do 20 chair-squats, (squatting in front of the edge of a chair) like you're going to sit down...but you don't, three times a week! Squats make for strong glutes, quads, helps your knees stay strong and gives you better balance. 2 : Push the vacuum around each room covering every surface, 3-times a week! You'll help your upper body strength, specifically Upper Back, Triceps and Shoulders stability for better posture strength. 3 : Be Green : Recycle cans, bottles, plastic, styrofoam, paper, oil, metal, magazines, newspapers, glass, cardboard & anything else that is possibly recyclable! The physical side of compacting these items takes muscle which strengthens your forearms (grip strength), arms, shoulders and trapezius (muscles on either side of your neck). Keeps your house free of excess clutter too, which as been proven to increase emotional stress, versus a more streamlined household. Lowers fire danger too. 4 : Use a push reel-type non-motorized mower to mow your lawn, I have one...you can borrow it anytime ya want...to reduce the use of fossil fuel, less noise pollution, and pushing those mowers is a great workout for your upper and lower body!
5 : If you are
going to buy, buy used.
You can muscle
the house into shape and gain sweat equity at the same time.
Maximize your investment by fixing it up yourself. 8 : Buy, don't sell. Rockefeller said the time to make money is when blood is running on the streets. Now is that time for buying real estate. The best deals are with cash, but if you have good credit and a lower debt to income ratio, you could get financing to invest in your future by purchasing a real estate property.
